Teapots

“What I enjoy most about these teapots is the juxtaposition of formal beauty with the whimsy of discovering the original use of the components that comprise the whole.”

Each piece is individually hand built with porcelain and fired to 2300 degrees (cone 10) in a reduction atmosphere.

This type of intense firing causes the glaze to transform in color and depth. On the edges, these changes are most accentuated, giving strength to the form of each piece.

Each teapot is functional and food safe.
